Nursing movement is a group of active nurses across India working for the betterment of the health care system via strengthening nursing care systems. There was a felt need for larger communication between the existing nursing unions, association and activist to share their work, experiences and for the collective bargaining. Therefore in year 2012 there was an initiative of few active nurses to form a social platform to introduce leaders and activists from across the states. This movements many members could meet physically in year 2015 at Dr RML hospital, New Delhi under the banner of All India Government Nurses Federation.

During this national nurses convention 2015, a book was published with a compilation of activities and information of the all nursing unions and association in India. This group is still active to share and discuss the issues related to professional and support each other.
